Wisdom of the Elders

It is in times like these that we must take care in what we spending our time doing.

Are you idly scrolling through social media, and before you know it X amount of time has passed you by?

Ask yourself “what have I achieved by doing so”.

Take care of your mind, it is extremely important that you do so, be not only mindful of what you eat and put into your bodies, also be aware of what you put into your mind as your mental health depends on it.

Cultivate your ability to focus and concentrate on positive activities that promote a healthy mind.

Build these habits again that have somewhat been lost by social media and its overriding habits of scrolling and ending down a rabbit hole,  as this forms unhealthy habits and mind patterns that take you away from the importance of life’s other enhancing pursuits.

There is room for all, however it is prudent to acknowledge some patterns and habits that are not for your best and highest good.

Go outside in nature, read books, take up hobbies, meet people, talk.  These all promote a healthy mindset.

Social media has its uses and has changed the way we communicate and that isn’t a bad thing at all, it is when it is exclusive of all other pursuits that it can become a problem and it can happen quicker and more readily than some may wish to admit.

It is noticing these patterns and making changes that you will begin to benefit from cultivating healthy habits, life affirming habits

There is food for thought here.

In love and service
